As stated, this is an autobiography written by author Pete Mandich, who has spent his life in golf – acquiring knowledge of the values, opportunities, and life lessons that can be learned by playing and teaching the game, participating in the operational side of the business, as well as, in the golf industry. And how through the positive influence that this “Big G” – (the three areas just mentioned in the world of golf) – this author was able to build the strength necessary to face many life challenges…and hopefully will assist others in doing the same.

 

Also – And of the utmost of importance to the author, (10) selected charities and foundations will be benefiting in this initial printing – including junior golf initiatives, mental health operations, and a variety of other programs assisting (mostly) childhood physical or emotional trauma. *These (10) will be posted on the website – and an up to date accounting of these dispersals will be provided on a regular basis for all to see, allowing for (but not limited to) one dollar per program per copy.

 

The publication and distribution of this book, is being done this way because – after considering all other options, it is the best way, and most expedient way to begin the process of launching this book and attracting the attention of a major publisher who can best handle its mass distribution. (And) for those who are involved in this “pre-booking” process, it greatly aids this author, and those others who are involved in defraying a significant amount of the costs involved in its publication.

 

For those of you who are reserving your copies, you will be receiving your copy by Summer 2024 – The cost of each reserved book is fifty dollars – (again, with a minimum of (10) dollars being set for a timely distribution to these charities + foundations. (And) a note from this author states – “If there were a better way to have approached this, I would, but with an eye towards the expedient desire to begin this process and hopefully further the distribution of this book – (which I hope will be something that many, upon its reading will, feel they have extracted positive value) – as well as the overwhelming costs that have already been incurred in getting it even to this distribution level, I could think of no other way. And quite honestly, if I were a wealthy man, I would have gone directly to a major publisher, and upon distribution have donated the proceeds to these and other wonderful charitable organizations that I have admired for so long.
